On 29th September a Culture Kitchen was held in the Parish Centre. Different dishes were served and experiences discussed. Unfortunately attendance was low, but all who joined enjoyed the event.

On 19th May Clarsach performed a concert using celtic harps.

On 28th April Andrew and Margaret Watchorn performed a concert using Northumbrian smallpipes and fiddle.

The Raising of the Cross on Coates Green was held this morning. Despite the rain, a good number attended a Service of Reflection in Church, then the Cross was brought out and erected at 11.15am. A Service followed, led by our ecumenical ministers, with members of the Community participating. Afterwards, everyone was offered a Hot Cross Bun, before going across to the Methodist Church for light refreshments.

Revd Capt Paul Allinson conducted the Easter Worship at Milbourne service and was assisted by Jane Easterby.

A group from St. Mary's Ponteland travelled to Taylor's Bell Foundry in Loughborough (the last remaining foundry in the UK) to witness the casting of two new bells. During the process, Vicar Revd Capt. Paul Allinson blessed the bells as they were prepared in the foundry.

The recent Fairtrade coffee morning was a great success and enjoyed by all.

The fundraiser meal for the "Friends of Mandritsara Trust", held in early January, raised to £456.50. Below is a lovely photograph from the lunch.
