Our Link Missionaries

The Parish has links with Eric and Sandra Read, who are Church Mission Society missionaries working in the Philippines.

We have supported them in their work for more than 16 years now, at first in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and subsequently in the Philippines where they set up a farm, taught the local farmers good farming techniques, formed bible study groups for young mothers and their children, and assisted the local churches.

Over the years they have had to face floods, earthquakes, hurricanes and drought, and recently they have had to cope with Covid-19.
